A Blessed Dedication and Final Inspection Passed !

What a great turnout at the dedication on Sunday afternoon; the attached pictures show how beautiful the new fellowship hall looked! Also attached are some pic’s from the last few weeks of construction.

So many people to thank! To everyone who have helped in any way with this project, whether construction and physical labor, administration, finances given, prayers sent, or moral support - we salute you, we thank you.

Praise the Lord, too, that we passed final inspection yesterday morning – see attached certificate!

Thank you Lord for the great things you have done!

God bless you each one,

Pastor Rogan

Thank you for all your prayers for our building program - all to the glory of Jesus Christ, the Head of the Church!

What A Month?

These past three to four weeks our building teams from North Carolina, Texas & New Hope have continued unstintingly on the final stages of our building project: tiling, sanding, painting, plumbing, carpentry, tidy up, moving offices and rooms, and a host of inevitable tail-end jobs! See how well, too, the building team and our VBS went together!

Our Dedication Service is in a week’s time: Sunday, 20th September at 4:00pm. Please come and join us on this happy occasion!

Insulation was installed and then sheetrock went went up. Some team members also put together our new playground set.

New Hope Church won a prize!

New Hope Church won a prize!

South Fork’s 4th July parade last Saturday was fantastic. There was great variety and enthusiasm in the parade and with the general public. Great fun! New Hope’s VBS-Church float won the chamber prize for best float (we didn’t know there was a competition!). We handed out hundreds of VBS (1st week in August) flyers and Church invitation/Gospel handouts. Thank you Keisha & Jonathan for making our float "happen". The firework display put on by the South Fork Volunteer Fire Department in the evening was a great treat for the whole town.. so was the moon and the night sky! :)

Happy Birthday America!

Thank you Lord for the great things you are doing!

The progress on the building continues to be way beyond expectation!

A new van for New Hope! 6-9-09

A new van for New Hope!
In the summer of last year Blaise Baptist Church in Mocksville, North Carolina gave their '95 church van used by their youth to Mountain View Chapel in Twin Bridges, Montana where a building team was building them a new Church (their Church building had been a mobile home for about 20 years!). The van was used by the various construction teams until the building project was completed in September, 2008. After this, the small Church had no use for the van and felt led by the Lord to give it to the Church with the next building program who could really use it... New Hope Church!

We feel overwhelmed with God's goodness!

More Building Progress 4/22/09

Building preparation continues and the ground dedicated to the Lord Sunday, April 19th, 2009

We had 6 - 8 inches of snow last Friday, which Delton ploughed off on Saturday. This week Moe & Mary have loaded and trucked off the old asphalt; Larry has been clearing off all soil removed from the building area. The photo of the boxes are man-made stone, a surprise donation this week from Ken Brooke of Brookestone! The insulation has also been delivered (housed in the volley ball shelter!) How thrilling on Sunday to end the morning service outside, dedicating the ground to the King of Kings! Thanks to everyone for all hard work and contributions. David & Sharon White, our on-site building coordinators are well on their way from North Carolina, were in Kansas City last night, and hope to arrive this Friday. Thanks to all those who helped clean Dan Daniels home where the Whites will be staying until June.

Your prayers for our building project are greatly appreciated - pray that the Lord will be glorified every step of the way!

First informal Building Team

First informal Building Team starts the preparatory work in earnest!

What an exciting week seeing Delton Lewellen's outfit arrive on Monday, unloaded Tuesday, and work started that afternoon. The attached photo's show all these events including raising the asphalt and leveling the ground. Work stopped today (Friday) with 6 - 8 inches of snow! Thank you Lord for the great things you have done!
